Club Sauna Caliente

This Saturday 21th of November Finland has an honour to choose the Dancehall Queen 2010 for Sweden, because Sweden is not going throw their own national Dancehall Queen Contest this year. Sweden is sending to Finland their 3 best dancehall dancers to compete of the Swedish crown and representation at the European Dancehall Queen Contest in Italy. Sweden will have their own category between Finland`s Dancehall King and Queen contests.

Vendela:

My name is Vendela and im 18 years old.I compete because i love to dance and i really like to compete. Ja love dancehall and to entertain the audience and when the music turns on my body starts to dance and thers no stop! I have win 6 talent hunt as a kid i won SM (swedich Master) in hiphop/street 2007 i camed on a 2:nd place att swedish national dancehall queen 2008- I camed on a 2:nd place att SM (swedish master) in reggaeton 2009 and i work as a dance teacher and im dancing in on of the biggest dancehall groups in sweden.

Mathilde

Im Mathilde aka: Dozee and i want to compete because i want to win. I havent been competing so much before buth i know that i have good chanses to win. Im 20 years old and i have been dancing since i was a kid, i dance everything hiphop/street/reggaeton/dancehall/krumping and more… se you at the club 21 th of november Praah praaah!!

Binta:

My Name is Binta Coker aka: Lil B. Im 20 years old and want to compete just because i love to compete and i love to dance. Dancehall is my thing, i love the music, the culture and the dance, and i love that dancehall is something you can dance with your own style. I won the swedish national dancehall queen 2008 and i won the swedish national reggaeton queen 2009 and i won Sm(swedish master) in hiphop/street 2007. I have been dancing since i was 5, different stylez buth my heart is dancing dancehall. Se you at the club BLESS!

1. ESKI-MA

My name is Maria aka Eski-ma, I`m 31 years old. I`m sunny & spicy, fun & life loving girl or should I say a woman, hahahah! I just love dancing diff styles but fav style is street dance. It`s a kinda way of life to me now a days wow. I`m taking a part to this competition to show myself, have I learned anything etc. Cuz there`s so much to see, hear & learn. It`s not that easy. So my motto is: ” I do not try to dance better than anyone else, I only try to dance better than myself.

2. ROOSA

19 years old from Helsinki. I am an athleate and I love dancing. I`ve beign doing gymnastics since I was 6 years old, and lately reggaeton and dancehall dancing has being my hobby.

1988-year of my birthday. I`m originally from Russia. Started dancing with classic dance- then it was hip hop, house, top rock, popping,  now I dance waacking and dancehall and I`m loving it.

I`m 19 year old girl from Vantaa. I`ve always loved dancing and music. And now I want to take advantage of this opportunity.

Dancing is a big part of my life and always will be. I`m compeating because I like to have fun.

I am a cuban guy and for cubans dancing is more than a tradition. I`ve felt dancehall & reggae music since kid, and I`m from Santiago de Cuba which is a part of Cuba where most we listen to this type of music and we have rastafari culture alive. I`m more interested to just dance than compete, but I like to show people what way you can enjoy with dancehall music, for me it`s an expression!

3. SAMI VALLIUS

My name is Sami, im 24 years old.
I have a vivacious, sosial and positive personality.
As I first started dancing it was only a hobby to me but the more I danced , the more I started to grow in it. In these days dancing is not ( to me ) hobby anymore , it’s a way of life. I like to dance many styles . My strongest dancestyles are house and hiphop.
Dancehall to me is new territory and im loving it. Imma newbie in this dancestyle but strong motivation to learn it. My motto:
Dance first. Think then. That’s the natural order.

4. KARLOS

My name is Karlos and i’m more than 20 years old on the dance floor. I started moving from when i started walking. I love dancing, clubing, singing, and everything related to music.

I dance in my free time.
Im participating In the dancehall king contest cause I love music. The first dance style Ive learned by myself is dancehall and I still love it. Ive practised different dance styles but when I heard boutt his conest I got intrested right away. I want to try my bounderys with dancing.
